A picture of something you love :)

After the last post it is nice to write about good things! I know we can't ignore the bad things, but it is nice to write a happy, positive blog today! This one could end up being long because there are a lot of things I love but I'll try to keep it to a few things!! It says something not someone, so in that case my first thing is Worship! I love to worship the Lord!! He is so deserving of my praises! I love the fact that I can worship him by singing by myself in my car or singing with a congregation at church.

I will give you all my worship
I will give you all my praise
You alone I long to worship
You alone are worthy of my praise

The next "something" I love is family! I love my family so much and couldn't imagine life without them! God has blessed me so much!!!

The 3rd thing I love is Friendship! I love all my friends.. the ones I talk to and see a lot and the friends I can go forever without seeing or talking to and we can always pick up right where we left off!! Friendship is a beautiful  blessing!! I am not going to post any pictures of my friends because I would for sure leave someone out and I don't want to do that! So I picked this picture for this one..

I love so many things.. The beach, sunshine, flowers,coffee, movies, ect.. :)

Hate is such a strong word

Today is a picture of something you hate! First of all I try not to hate but there are a few things that come to mind. The first one being abortion. I hate it and I DO NOT believe it should be an option. Obviously I am not pro choice I am pro life but since it said a picture of something you hate I chose this. I could post more graphic pictures of abortions and ect but I feel this gets my point across. I have always hated abortion but since becoming a mom myself I hate it more than ever. I understand things happen and you may not be ready to be a mother or a father yet but at least give that child a chance to live life and put them up for an adoption. I could go on and on all day on this issue but the bottom line is .. I hate it and I believe 100% in Pro-Life!!
Another thing I hate is Child abuse in any shape or form.

It breaks my heart to think of children that have to go through this. I also hate when couples fight especially when my husband and I fight. I always want to make the home a safe haven and a place of enjoyment for my children. I don't want to fight and argue in front of them. I would prefer to not argue at all but we all know there are going to be times because of our human , sinful, flesh that we are going to not get along.

Ok, enough depressing stuff! I do hope you all have a great day but these issues weigh heavily on my heart!

I've been slacking.. AGAIN

I know.. I'm a slacker! ha ha I'm just so busy.. I just post when I can!! I love doing this photo challenge though but it make turn into something that takes me a year to complete at the rate I'm going!! :) I'm not even going to list the days as numbers.. I'm losing track and some of them are silly and I'll skip them any ways. So..
Today: A picture of someone you do the craziest things with
Any one who knows me knows I'm not all that "crazy" lol I like to do fun things of course but not stupid things! I have a family now and my babies need their momma.. So Sky diving is not on my list of things I'd love to do any more! haha Not that there is anything wrong with it but I wont be taking the chance!! :P
I don't just have one person but one of my most adventurous things I've done is para sailing (sp?) in the Bahamas on my honeymoon.  It wasn't exactly scary but it was a lot of fun and so beautiful!!

One thing I did do that was a little nerve wracking (to me any ways) was cliff jumping at the lake one summer! My sister in-law, Leslie and I did it together! I was so proud of myself for actually jumping. I got up there and almost talked myself out of it!

Day 7

Day 09 - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

Today was super easy for me to decide! Of course I have a wonderful family, and friends who have been there for me and I know always will be, BUT there is only one "person" who is ALWAYS there.. no matter what. It is amazing to me that no matter what I've done or what I'll do, he will always forgive me and love me. He will love me for me!! So today I chose Jesus!!

I have been in some pretty dark places in my past and made some really stupid mistakes and words can not explain how thankful I am for his forgivness and grace. My biggest desire is to raise my children in a way that they will come to know him when they are ready. "If God is for us, who can be against us?!"

It's been a few days

I have been slacking a little on posting the last few days.. I've just been busy!! I have been doing this photo challenge on myfacebook but I don't feel like I have the room to type all I want to type on there.. so.. I am going to pick up where I left off on here. (I can post it on my facebook too) It's a win win :)
Day 6: A picture of my most treasured item
Ok so this says item, not a person. This one was hard because I can think of so many things and people that I treasure. If I had to pick one item though I'd pick my pictures and photo albums. I thought about saying my bible but my bible is replaceable... I can go buy a new one if anything were to ever happen to it. My pictures and photo albums aren't replaceable though. Pictures from my childhood, my dances in high school, my engagment, my wedding, my babies births. So many memories!! I am such a picture person and love knowing that you captured a moment you can never get back. I don't have a picture of all of my albums, but I found a picture I am going to post of what I would love to do to my office. Such organization :)

Heavy Heart

Wow, what a week! I had to take Jackson to the doctor today and learned that he has another ear infection.. No wonder he has felt so rotten the last few days!! I do want to stop and acknowledge how thankful I am for my 2 healthy baby boys!! We may get sick every now and again, but all in all they are healthy. My heart has been so heavy since learning about a little girl named Kylie and what she is going through. I am going to copy and paste her story from her caring bridge so I don't say anything wrong or give false information..

"Kylie Grace was a typical fun loving 2 year old until a few months ago.  She started have some coordination and vision problems which escalated on December 30th this year.  We took Kylie to Children's Hospital in Knoxville where we were met with the news that she had a tennis ball sized tumor and a cyst on her brainstem.  She was flown from Knoxville to Le Bonhuer in Memphis on New's Years Eve Night.  At Le Bonhuer we discovered that Kylie's tumor was one of the largest they had seen in a 2 year old patient, and the cancer had also spread down her spine.  Kylie is currently undergoing her first round of treatment at St. Jude's in Memphis.  Doctors still have not pin pointed the type of cancer, so please continue to pray that this will be resolve quickly! "

Here is a picture of this precious baby girl and I picked this one because I love the positive attitude and their faith through this battle.

I am blogging about this today because I'm asking everyone to pray with my that if it be God's will that he heal her. I know he is a God of healing and he can do anything, and i deff. believe in the powere of prayer! Being a mom myself has made this so heavy on my heart. I also want to get a fundraiser event together here. I don't really know where or when yet  (sooner the better). I have to come up with a place that would be willing to let me set up my Scentsy table and since it is winter it probably needs to be somewhere that would let me set up inside. If anyone has any ideas that would be great!! I just want to do something to help.
I know her parents are missing a lot of work as well as the doctor bills they will have to pay, so I'm sure they can use all the help that can get. Anyone that wants to help me with this event is welcome to as well!! Thanks so much and Have a wonderful Friday!!

My first blog

Hi Friends and Family! :) This is my first blog, so don't be too hard on me! I have always wanted a place to journal and share my thoughts, feelings, and ideas! A few of my friends are excellent bloggers... I can go ahead and promise you, I wont be as good as they are. Most of my blogging will most likely be during nap time or at night before bed. ha ha I am a mommy to the 2 most precious boys EVER :) I honestly could have never imagined how much of a blessing being a mom would be. Jackson has not been feeling great for what seems like a month now. Christmas night he got real sick and we ended up in the ER.. twice! Well I thought I had him bettter although he still hasn't been himself. Anyone who knows him knows he is 100 miles an hour non-stop unless he is sleeping. He just hasn't had hardly any energy at all since he got sick and now we are snotty and coughing again! So.. we are going to the doctor in the morning. The night before last he refused to sleep at ALL!! He and I were up all night and didn't go to sleep till 6:30 yesterday morning. I'm still not real sure what was going on. Needless to say though, we were exhausted yesterday. Sweet Brodey was so good too, it was like he knew we were worn out. Brodey is always such a good, happy, contented baby! He just got his 2 bottom teeth at the same time.. I can't believe how big he is getting. 7 months now! I feel like this blog is all over the place.. I appologize haha But I warned ya =) Jackson is awake so I'm going to end here for now! I'll get better at this.. hopefully! I have a lot I want to "blog" about! This was just kinda an intro. Hope everyone is having a fantastic Thursday!!
